Meet Michael Jones
Michael Jones was born and raised in Louisville. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1982, then earned a Finance degree from Miami University in 1986. He currently lives in Louisville with his wife and three children.
Michael has garnered a well-earned and respected reputation as a businessman committed to the city of Louisville. Along with Doric Real Estate, Michael owns Highland Cleaners, which he has helped grow into one of the largest and highest quality dry cleaners in the Midwest. With Michael at the helm since 1986, Highland Cleaners has grown from 6 stores to 13 stores and sales have increased five-fold. Highland Cleaners is consistently rated as “The Best of Louisville” in dry cleaning.
Michael is involved in numerous associations and professional boards. Some of these include the Historic Homes Foundation, Louisville Independent Business Association, Dress for Success, Heat and Soul of St. Matthews Association, and the Ursuline Campus Schools. In his industry Michael has served as a Board Member and President of both the Kentucky Fabricare Association and the National Hydrocarbon Cleaners Association. His alma-mater has named Michael a Miami University Entrepreneurial Fellow.
